About the Trainer

Joanne Sweeney-Burke has vast experience in media, communications and  ultimately people. She is a former broadcast journalist, PR lecturer, media  commentator and TV personality. Joanne was a finalist in the 2011 “The Apprentice” series on TV3.

Her background as a broadcast journalist, PR lecturer and business owner adds significant value to any attending trainee to her course and guests to her workshops and events. Among Joanne’s vast academic portfolio are a first class Masters in Journalism, A Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Communications, A Certificate in Mentoring & Managing People, A Certificate in Social Media Communications and a Diploma in Business Management.  In October Joanne begins her Masters in Digital Marketing (part-time) to become one of only 5% of the world’s population to hold this qualification. The course is being delivered by the Digital Marketing Institute.

 

Bringing her own life and business experience to bear on this workshop, Joanne Sweeney-Burke – mother, wife, trainer, business owner, boss, mentor, triathlete, blogger, media commentator, speaker – asks the question, “so how do you react when life circumstance challenge you? Do you stand still in defence or do you crumble under pressure?” By the end of this workshop you will be more self-aware and hopefully will have found your passion to fight and problem-solve.

These workshops are run as part of the Innovation & Enterprise Programme which is a cross-border initiative with Omagh. The cross-border initiative was developed by ICBAN through its Multi Annual Plan which is part-financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund through the INTERREG IVA Cross-Border Programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
